According to head coach Glen Gulutzan, the Dallas Stars’ second period performance “was the worst period we’ve played in my time here” in their 5-1 loss to the New Jersey Devils last night at American Airlines Center. While the Stars had won five games in a row prior to last night’s loss, Luds found some big mistakes and bad decision making that he’s going to highlight today and it sounds like the coaching staff agrees with that assessment. Also on today’s show, we will go through the latest injury updates for Kyle Capobianco and Sam Steel, discuss the progression of David Perron as he closes in on his Dallas Stars debut (but not tomorrow night against Montréal) and examine what roster moves the front office will have to make before facing the Canadiens on Thursday. Plus, a DLLS Diehard from Alberta shares t-shirts and success from his local youth hockey organization and we’ll hit some NHL News & Notes.
